Louisville was terrific, it was one of the best NCECA's I've gone to.

Did you know that EIGHT of the official Panels involved Clayart
people?! And at least 3 of the Breakout groups were lead by Clayarters.

Highlights were the Bourbon, Marci and Stephani's presentation on
Moorish tiles, the panel on working potters, the Bourbon, the Clay
National Show, the Cyberclay show, the whiskey bottle and 'shot
glass' show at Louisville Stoneware and Paul's breakout group on
China Painting. Did I mention the Bourbon?

After the Texas party (I was an honorary Texan for the night as
Marci's 'date') Donna Causland took us over to the Seelbach Hilton, a
block away, to show us their 'Rathskeller'. It was a huge cellar room
with vaulted ceilings completely decorated with Rookwood Tiles. I've
included a link to my pictures here:
http://users.skynet.be/russel.fouts/clayart.htm. The pictures aren't
great, I was shooting in very low light with no tripod. The room has
the dual distinction of being one of the first airconditioned rooms
ever built and the only room of it's kind in the world, still intact.
Enjoy the pictures.

Yi Ha!
