Howdy y'all,

I have seen a few selling/marketing-one's-crafts questions on the list
lately. I am in the process of reading through a second new book to
our library which some of us newtimers might find helpful. Below, I
include bibliographic information from our online catalogue. At least
one book has LOC (libary ((yes I meant to spell it that way)) 'o
Congress) links for table of contents etc. Feel free to add to this
list if you have read through a particularly good book. Let's not
comment on books unless we have read enough to make a fair judgement,
K? Remember the topic is Craft/Small Business books not
How-to-throw-thinner-walls books, though lawd knows I need those
books.

Peace out all you Clayers!

---------------
Making a living in crafts / Donald A. Clark.

**Good book which gives the basics of the business side of crafts.
Included are sections from the viewpoint of the major consumers of
fine craft, a.k.a. the collector and gallery owner.

Series: Home-based business series

http://www.loc.gov/catdir/toc/globe051/2004303677.html

**Still reading this one. Goes into details and is in it's 4th edition
which is a good sign I think. A bit more nuts and bolts that Clark's
book I think, but both are well worth the trouble to check out at the
library.

Taylor there are 2 very handy and trendy resources out there:=20
www.Americancraftforum.com and The Crafts Report(magazine).
"Crafting as a business" by Wendy Rosen is to the point and also =
inspiring.
"Stayin' Alive" by Robin Hopper is also a great resource for beginners.=20
