Just before everyone runs off to NCECA, I thought I'd repost the notice of
Vince's workshop to be held here at my place this summer.

Handbuilding: Tricks of the Trade with Vince Pitelka
July 23rd to 27th, 2007
at McDowell Pottery, Ferndale, WA

From Vince's Description:
"Our objective is to get you to handbuild with a sense of adventure and
discovery. We will explore unusual ways of approaching pinch, coil, and slab
construction in order to develop a particular mind set, an adventurous
inclination to use handbuilt forms in new ways, opening up the possibility
of original form inaccessible through more traditional approaches."

It's also time to mention the availability of three 50% discount positions
for participants who help in various ways to put this workshop on. One such
person will contribute the use of their slabroller and bring it to the site.
Another will serve as the designated errand runner during the workshop (with
the caveat that no chores will be given in conflict with Vince's
presentations), and the third position will be for someone who can help me
for a couple of days the week before, getting the place workshop ready.
These three people will be invited to pay only $150 each for the week long
workshop.

Contact me by email if you are interested in any of these positions.

This is a MAJOR bargain, folks - jump on it if you
can. Not only are Vince's workshops great fun, but
Michael's place is wonderful. Do it, do it.

Hey Michael,

You've twisted my arm....
I just bagged a show I was planning to do that weekend... so do have those
days free.
I could do the getting place ready position.
I'm located on Bainbridge Island, WA
I'm doing Vince's Workshop in Tucson in June too.
Best Regards,

Gayle Bair
