I originally ran across the term "Yohen" at Rishi Teas. I found that it=20
refers to pottery with natural ash glazing or to the kiln where such=20
pottery is fired, or to the "Accidental" look of the pottery produced by=20
such kilns.

Then I ran across:
"Yohen" (a stage play) (It has been performed in larger cities across=20
the continental US and in Hawaii.)
http://starbulletin.com/2006/06/02/features/story06.html
(The play focuses on a couple=E2=80=99s marriage. Married for 40 yearsTh=
e wife=20
is a potter and a Japanese war bride. The husband is a retired soldier=20
and African-American. They married in Japan, and live in the USA.=20
According to the reviews, the play is at least as much about the=20
vicissitudes of marriage as couples age and start to question whether=20
they have any reason still to stay together as it is about race.)

Google "Yohen" and click on Images to see lots of pots with "yohen"=20
characteristics.

Enjoy...
