Antoinette,
Our adult Community College class is held in the well equiped local high
school
pottery so we get to see lots of high school work.
I really enjoy seeing the creative and suprising work of these young
artists. The high school pottery teacher encourages
underglaze work. I see lots of black , red and blues, not much green but
purple and
yellows. They enjoy self portraits so a flesh tone is needed too.
One tip you may not know is that Spectrum's low fire 700 clear will fire to
cone 6 and 7 and is a
water clear over underglaze. The pieces are fired between the application
of the colors and the top
glaze.

Your last year stay at home exchange partner who will not stay home this
year,
Angela Davis

Antoinette,
I would add some white to that list, it will radically alter your pallette.
They arn't all radical gloom, some are still pink and fluffy, in, like, a
retro sort of way (doh Mum)
Or so I am informed by my Son and Daughter.......
Have fun.
