Friends and neighbors,
This weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12-5, I will have private Solstice Studio sale.
My October trip had me touching base with some of the roots of my interest in pottery. That, combined with the desire to see what my new (new to me) kiln can do, has inspired experiments with traditional Asian glazes and brushwork on stoneware and porcelain. Bowls, mugs, serving pieces, seconds, tea bowls, even a spring water dispenser (second), tenmoku, chun glaze, blue and white porcelain. Starting at $5.
Thursday I return from the cape kiln with these experiments as well as the latest batch of smoke fired, flame painted pots. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the studio will be open 12-5 for this private sale. So drop by for a last minute gift, a mug for your college kid, serving bowl for your mom, a cereal bowl for you or just a look, a cup of tea and hello.
Help me clear the decks for new experiments, new work, new year. Bring a friend. The prices will reflect my appreciation. If you want to come another time, let me know.
