in my opinion, unless you are doing some
very exotic coating...itc/veneer with kaowool/itc soaked
or entire brick soaked with itc.

use hard brick. back with soft.

the cost will be far less, you can rebuild
later if you need it....and you can kick the
bbb---jeessssus out of that kiln.

no need to get exotic.
i have been down those roads.
my new salt kiln at the farm is going
to be very hard...as in brick.
with fiber roof and door, that we already\
have in place....mel
