Dear Antionette,
Rather old is Alison Sandeman, "Working with Porcelain" ISBN =
0-8230-5869-7 covers all of the basics including kiln packing and =
firing.

And just a little younger is Peter Lane, "Studio Porcelain. Contemporary =
design and techniques", ISBN 0-273-01538- 9

It would pay you to go through "Ceramic Technical". Always a good source =
of up to date information.
Best regards,
Ivor.

Ivor Lewis.

Hi Ivor. As always, thanks for your help. Ceramic technical is one of =
the
best magazines out in the Ceramic field. A little expensive for me, but =
I
was just last night thinking I have to subscribe to that again. Peter =
Lane
is a great resource.....next to my bed all the time.
