Thanks to Kelly for bringing this exhibit to the attention of fellow =
clayarters. I hope my two teabowls were not among those pots she was not =
too excited by. Over the past several years I have used the "I'm too =
busy teaching" excuse to enter juried shows with the regularity I'd =
like. This semester I am teaching a professional issues course in which =
I require the students to enter three juried shows during the semeters. =
I decided it was no more work to take my own slides while helping them =
so i have the work and the slides at hand with which to enter shows. =
While ou are looking at the cup exhibit - check out the work by Jason =
Woolery, one of my current undergrads, keep his name in mind, he'll be =
lloking for grad schools in another year. His newest work, saggar/pit =
fired, fumed is amazing - MFA quality pots and research before he even =
finishes his BFA.
