One of my favorite potters is Bacia Edelman, Her work is just fabulous =
in
my opinion. If you acquire a title from how many pots one makes, then I =
am
descending into the hobbyist category as well!!!! My output has =
dwindled to
what I feel like making. I feel that I have paid my dues. I have been
corresponding with Bacia and am amazed that she is still going to wood
firing workshops and making her amazing pots while struggling with going =
up
and down stairs. My studio is also in the basement so traversing two
flights of stairs is something I think about seriously when I get ready =
to
work. Last thing I want to happen is to fall. =20
So Bacia and I are still going at it in our own way just to keep working
with our love of clay. And we are not hobbyists by any means.
