nothing makes me smile more than
instant real life stories about anything
that really happens in a studio, making, selling
being.

of course, look at those that responded.
liz.tony.david.des.

are they good potters? \making great pots.???
do they sell pots? do they experiment???
do they hustle????
are they on the cutting edge???
they could sell anything that is made of clay.

of course they sell pots....that is their business.

but, if you are in a horse race, and you only have
one horse in the race....you had better look around a bit. lots
of horses out in front of you.

and finding out what people will lay their money down
on your counter for, is only a smart way to do business.

art and fear/the book said it very well.

if people don't buy what you make, or don't like
what you make...perhaps it is time to check and see
what it is you make.....don't call your customers stupid.
mel
that comes from chapter 3, book 2, verse 32 of mel's
bible.
there are thousands of clay related people that read clayart
every day....each has a customer base...and they are all different.
one size does not fit all. we can only try to raise awareness
and get folks thinking and talking.
that is my job.
