Surfing with Helen Bates - November 10, 2006 - USA and UK

Back from Indiana... new sites for your perusal...

Arthur Gonzalez (Faculty, Associate Professor, Ceramics,
Interdisciplinary Studies) (California College of Arts and Crafts)
(Oakland, CA, USA)
(Ceramic sculpture)

Jason Wason (West Penwith, Cornwall, England, UK)
(Wason, who has travelled the world, was apparently the last Leach
apprentice. He uses no glazes; rather, he employs oxides for metallic
surfaces. His work consists of sculptural pieces especially vases; he
points up the perfection of a piece with an imperfection of an added
raised piece at strategic point)

Peter T. Wang (Pasadena, CA, USA)
(The potter who threw that 5-pull vase on YouTube, Wang is a ceramist,
mathematician, graphic artist, web designer, programmer, and engineer.)
(Ceramics Monthly Article: November 2006)
(By the way, he's a Clayarter who used to post in the early 2000's.)

Charles Belgarde Jr. (San Francisco, CA, USA)
(American Native Charles Belgarde Jr. maintains a studio in Ruby's
Gallery in San Francisco. The film linked to below takes place at the
Gallery's recent all-member show in the city's Golden Gate Park.)

Anthony Reid Harvey (Silver Ceramic Systems) (Holden, MA, USA) (application/pdf Object)
(Reid Harvey's silver ceramics filter cartridge manufacturing plant has
recently been relocated from Alfred, New York to Holden, Massachussetts)

So enjoy... :)
