Pllaster and Canvas Bad in my estimation. Plaster is a no no (some use =
it quite sucessfully I know) and Canvass just kicks up so much dust it =
is unbelievable. What is wrong with a wooden table. Choose the wood so =
it is absorbent and hey presto. I built my wedging tables from the =
crates that the Slate Tiles for our roof came in, turned them over and =
topped them with shuttering board - the wooden boards used to enclose =
areas to be concrte poured, it has a smooth and a rough side. Cheap as =
chips and works for decades - unlike canvas.

happy potting Marek

I don't use canvas and I really, I mean REALLY like my plaster boards. I
can use cement board for just plain wedging but plaster does the work of
drying out my clay that is typically wet. However, you have given me an
idea of putting a canvas on the plaster board. That might serve my
needs. Canvas should not be a problem with dust as long as it is sponged
down before use.

Thanks, Donna
