does anyone know the difference between oxide and nitride bonded silicon
carbide shelves? this website says the oxide is a little more dense.

also how do you guys feel about the slits that are cut in shelves for
thermal expansion? i know this helps keep the shelves from cracking but
do shelves with slits tend to warp more than shelves without?
