ivor/skin exposure

i took that information from a national geographic
article a few years back.

it was a study done in australia, it found that serious
skin cancers were twice as common among office
workers, who were seldom in the sun, as with ranchers.
i believed the study.
that magazine is long gone...so, i have memory as a source.

i asked my dermatologist..and he said.
`in my opinion, binge sunning is far more dangerous
than common outdoor exposure.` he felt it was the
dangerous burning that caused the problem. but, even
the docs don't always have the answer. skin cancers are
very complex. not just one answer.
he then said...`i just watch for it, treat it...i cannot
stop it when people have a propensity to that sort of
disease. and, have you ever seen the `babe` 70 years old,
sat out in the sun every day by a pool, smoking cigarettes?..they look
like death warmed over, and are.`

my point was:
normal, prudent exposure will give you good
value...vitamin D. without it...other things go wrong.
