re/wire a kiln/digital camera

one of the best uses for a digital camera is
that quick, perfect picture of anything you are
repairing.

as in an electric kiln wiring box.

open the red box.
make sure you can see all of the wires, and where
they go.
take a digital picture.
print it 8x10.

now you know how it all goes back together.
the fear of mistake is gone.

multi colored electrical tape is great too.
mark the wire and the location with the same
colored tape for each.

i also am very happy with the new multi-colored
sharpie pens. nice markers when doing repair work.

most anything can be taken apart.
getting it back correctly is the bid deal.

as many of you do....i have several large folders
with the instructions manual of everything i buy.
about every year i go through those folders
and get rid of old/out dated manuals.

my cartoon bubble is always the same:

the male animal, storming around the house.
looking in every drawer.
`agnes, where did you put the schematic for
my new digital watch? damn, i cannot set it.`
of course that schematic went out with the papers
to the re/cycle mill two months ago.

many schematics are available now in digital form.
just google the company and the part.
