if any of you have copper red/dangerous
pots...and they are made by:

warren mackenzie
tom turner
hamada
david hendley
val cushing
voulkus

just send them to me for safe keeping.
i will wrap them in aluminum foil and
keep us all safe.

or, i may just eat off of them.

But what the Mayor forgets to tell you is that his hair is turning from that
silver we all know and love to the same amazing shade that Lucille Ball
sported! YMMV.

My favorite piece is a 12 inch tall vase/urn made by an old instructor of
mine. A silvery copper cranberry on white porcelain. Wouldn't eat out of
it though. Now, one of Mel's bowls....that's a different story. A potter I
know tells me that she "had dinner with the Mayor the other night" meaning
she ate from one of his bowls. She hasn't died yet. Her hair is red.
And I'm proud to own one of Mel's bowls too. My beard is still (mostly) red
after 51 years. Coincidence? Maybe not...

There's a subject for someone's doctoral thesis.

Now is a good time to remind everyone of the efforts of yet another
Clayarter, our very own Gail Phillips.

Don't know who you're talking to?
Here's a good way to put a face to a name.
If you haven't already sent in your mug shot, shame on you .
