throwing tall cylinders

Just wanted to apologize to Ivor for not crediting him with the method I
described for throwing tall a few days ago. I did not remember where I had gleaned
this nugget for very useful information. When I take notes from Clayart, I
carefully try to credit the person who posted the information (the reason why I
keep asking that posts be signed with a person's full name!). Having gotten
this information from a magazine quite some time ago, I did not remember where I
had read it. I just threw a vase using the method, have been using it for
years, ever since I read it, and it always works. Since I throw mostly in
porcelain, it is even more useful. Thanks, Ivor, and sorry for not giving you credit
for the technique!

Dear Veena,

How could I possibly get upset with such a long standing and delightful =
clayart friend. I thank you for your acknowledgment.

I just thought it might be wise to qualify my answer and give some =
original references.

My research goes well, I have another model that shows what might be =
happening in this wonderful stuff we call clay and once I have got the =
pictures and diagrams finished it will go of to the magazine. Plasticity =
explained simply.

Good to read your message.

Sincere regards, and good wishes to Jai,

Ivor
