HI Linda,

Well, I sure did open a can of worms for myself. At the moment, I am
without a photo program that I know how to use. Struggling with Adobe
Elements right now. Since my pictures taken in China are all in slide
format=B8 I have available a family member who can put these on a CD for =
me.
So when I get some time during our winter hibernation here in the cold =
north
country, I will do what I can. =20

Bonnie,

One of those programs I have come to not be able to live without is
Picasa2 freeware:

http://picasa.google.com/

It is now available for Linux, but not Apple.

It will do everything you need for travel photos. Also makes it easy
to email photos or put them up on Blogger.

If you need to do more stuff like you do with Photo Shop, check out
Gimp freeware:

http://www.gimp.org/windows/

It has Linux, Windows and Mac versions. I only use it for image
adjustments for more "formal" photos.
