Bill , your email on Soldner's Slip shows 50 % of copper carb and 50% for
Red Iron Oxide Is this correct or am i reading it wrong.? Based on a
100 gr batch i would add 50.0 grams of each ot the oxides?

That's correct.

As Bonnie wrote in her posting of the recipe, this is a vitreous engobe, but
it also similar to an oxide wash, lacking sufficient glassy components it
will discolor over time.
