This looks like the electric stim I get at my chiropractor when I'm all
locked up. You can buy the electric stim machines online with a
prescription from any health provider. It is not the same as TENS--I
find that to not work at all.

In addition, for a "low tech" approach, you could try something my
acupuncturist does when I go in with a muscle spasm: cupping. You take
a short glass cup with a very smooth rim (like a jelly jar). Put a lit
LONG match (like for fireplaces) inside to burn up the air, then
quickly put it onto the area with the spasm. It should form a suction
and stick. Leave it there for 15--20 minutes. My acupuncturist says it
"sucks out the evil wind." I don't know if it does THAT, but it does
melt away the spasm very well. It will leave a mark that looks like a
bruise, but it doesn't hurt.

Hi Antoinette

I looked at the site you provided and these look like electro stimulation machines that are used in chiropractic and acupuncture offices. Chrio puts the pads directly on your skin and acupuncture clips the electrodes right to the needle that is inserted in your skin. YES they do work to relieve pain and on ebay you can even buy them and use them on yourself.
