back pain need advise- use copper

Marilu, Hi, along with the suggested copper, as you heal, a "non medical
advice" suggestion would be to progress from theraputic massage to a
stretching activity like Ti Che. I believe that this "soft" martial art can
heal and strengthen you and prepare you for a more vigorus martial style or
simply to regular hikeing and other mobility activities that will induce
greater circulation of your body fluids and nutrition to strengthen and
promote muscle, connective tissue, glandular and skeletal health.
Not to mention increased mental focus and stamina.

Most of our potter related complaints and injuries can be mitigated or
relieved by a regular program of exercise that stretches out the connective
tissue that shortens and eventually becomes ridgid and painful from repeated
movements in the limited range of motion many of our pottery activities
entail.

This is why I posted last week about proper wedgeing of clay, at an
appropriate table height, being good for both the clay and our bodies.
Pugmill wedgeing!!! oh my acheing ass....back, shoulders, arms and carping
tunnels.

Wouldn't a better complaint be that we hiked too far, danced too vigorously,
made too much love, or some such?

Massage therapists and chiropractors can do wonders for our body and are
generally willing to refer us to an MD when appropriate, It"s a rare and
unusual MD who will refer you to a chriopractor or massage therapist. By
all means at your disposal, see a qualified health professional and read the
