Barb, yes, I know a good number of clayart names, that we all recognize, who
will be there. As well as many other fine Arizona potters and clay people I
know and love and I'm sure that you would love to meet.
The Verde Valley crew that fires my kiln with me will be there in force,
pre-conference fireings as well.
We are fireing here Aug 23-27 and then working for pieces for the Flagstaff
loadings beginning Oct 3. Excitement is high and Jason and all at Flag are
rolling out the welcome.

The Flagstaff people have arranged good accomodations at Flagfstaff but if
those fill or someone is on a tight tight budget, I am on the Verde River in
Clarkdale with six acres of tent and camper space. Even have a guest room
and floor space, first come. A suggested $20.00 contribution for the
conference duration will cover utilities and camping. It's obviously not
about the money, just let's make it possible for everyone, new friends and
old. We will be ride shareing up thru scenic Oak Creek Canyon, and the
Sedona Red Rocks to Flagstaff daily and nightly as needs occur and change.

Gotta go, see you there,

David
