I have just made a mistake in making my terra sig, I left it for way to
long ie, 12 hours too long! is it recoverable? do I wizz it up and let
it settle again? or have I to start over?
many thanks from a rookie.

Lesley,

You did not make a mistake. We call these things "practice."

Just stir it up again and let it settle. Nothing has changed in that
bucket as far as I know. Don't add any more defloc. It's all good.

Happy terra sigging,

Taylor, in Rockport TX

Go for it!

"Too Long" is relative. In my experience, some clays need more time,
some less. And, yes, you can just remix it up again. Although it
might take a little work to get the sludge in the bottom mixed up again.

You probably don't need to add any more defloculent, either. In case
you were considering it.
