Hello,
My name is Ryan Waltman. I'm 24 years old and have recently
graduated from Slippery Rock University where I received a BFA with a
focus in ceramics. I also have completed a 6 month apprenticeship at
Ambrose pottery located in ambrose, PA. I'm an excellent thrower and can
make molds, fire the kiln, have alot of pottery knowledge, and really have
a desire to be in the ceramics business. What I'm interested in is that
if you offer any employment opportunities (production potter, apprentice,
studio helper, etc.) or if you had just any advice for a young potter
trying to make a living. Any information would be helpful, I'm not
against moving to a larger area or changing some things around to be
closer to a more art oriented community. Again I cannot stress enough how
much any and all advice would help, with that said you could only imagine
how much employment or an opportunity would help.

Thanks,

Ryan Waltman
