JOYCE LEE on wed 21 jun 06

It's been a few years but before moving to the desert we lived on
Whidbey Island for five years....... would have enjoyed settling
there but the need to make a living called us back to Los Angeles and
the San Fernando Valley. Five years there also and then to the
desert.

I noted that Steve spoke of Sequim and Port Townsend..... two of our
favorite places in those days. However, the town of Joyce was around
that end of the peninsula somewhere .... can't tell you how many=20
pictures we have in our family memorabilia with me standing in yet
another cockamamie pose before the sign that proclaims we are in
the town of Joyce. Actually it just says Joyce...... good enough.

Joyce
In the Mojave desert, who also has a half dozen or so pictures of me
pointing to the sign entering a town called Rollins in I believe =
Montana.
Rollins of course was my maiden name. No matter how far out of the
way, we'd wend our path to Rollins to talk to the postmistress trying to
find a connection somehow to the town's forefathers or foremothers.
