The forth row down, first album called Overlapping Glazes.

Here I have made an album of a few glazes, but glazes we know from either
MC6G or some I have posted results of, including a Metallic Black that I
made with red clay, inspired by Lili's glazes. Click twice on the photo to
get the larger version so you can see more details of glazes' beauty.

I think they are worth a look, especially for those who like furry glazes
like Floating Blue.

The Spearmint can run considerably, so I kept high on the rim or inside. It
can also pinhole if it is too thick.

Otherwise, there were many a splendid color and lots of movement and fur
under glossy shells. I was especially

intrigued by the reds from MC6G Bone over several of the glazes. Over the
high iron glazes such Licorice and AC Metallic Black,

Bone and Rutile gave a considerably good Floating Blue likeness without
being finicky.

I dipped the pots and then used an ear syringe for the overlapping glazes.
There was a lot of movement and streaking and some glaze just

bulging at the foot rings. The only glaze that ran in two big drips over
the base was Spearmint over the black glazes. On other pots, it was applied
high

enough, that it did not run off. I think, personally, there are some
beautiful examples of color and movement at Cone 6.

The glazes I used in these photos are

MC6G Spearmint

MC6G Licorice

MC6G Bone

Floating Green

Rutile Overglaze

Grace's B Base, Cobalt

AC Metallic Black

The last three glazes are on my website along with recipes at
www.alisapots.dk

or in the Clayart Archives.
