re glaze faults - a thank you.

Just want to say thank you to all who responded to my message about my ash
glaze problems. As Lee pointed out, the solubles in the ash are the issue,
so I've decided to take Waynes advice and dry some of my large bucket of wet
ash and start from scratch (which I did during a recent firing - it worked!)
I did get a little confused as to whether the glaze had flocculated or
deflocculated. Lee said deflocced and I checked Phil Rogers book and he
suggested that also.

In fact, I've decided I don't like any of the glazes I'm using at the moment
- which is fortunate because all the buckets are nearly empty - so I have a
little dry washed ash and am going to reformulate and run some tests. Back
to square one I guess.

Thanks again,
Regards,
Andrew.
