Here is a great oportunity to visit some of the potteries in France!
Paris to Provence, 2000 years of pottery in France
October 1st to 11th 2006, sponsored by St. Petersburg Clay Company,
accompanied by Emmanuel Roux and organized by Decouvertes, exclusive
cultural tours in France since 1986.

For artists, collectors, and anyone with interest in crafts Art, History,
food and France.

The trip will include visits to several ceramics museums with visits
conducted by the curators.
Clay studios of 3 major French potters village, meetings with renowned
artists, gallery owners and collectors as well as private home visits.
The trip also includes a private tour of the great gothic cathedral of
Bourges, the Roman aqueduct of the =93Pont du Gard,=94 the beautiful hill to=
wn
of Uzes and its region, and the spectacular =93Gorges du Verdon=94 that riva=
l
the Grand Canyon.
The tour will be guided by Emmanual Roux, a French citizen, restaurant
owner, and arts aficionado, living in St Petersburg Florida. He will share
his love and knowledge of French history, food, wine, and culture as well
as his contacts with people who you will meet.
