thanks kathy, and i hope many
of you followed kathy's wonderful
trip through tech land.

we use godaddy for ridatick. made a site,
have all the domain names bought up for
ridatick.

funny, i have always just messed with my
homemade website. use it for clayart, pix
and general information. it serves me very well.

got all serious with ridatick.
but, you are correct, we pay almost
nothing for web hosting and domain name
rights. godaddy is just terrific.

i am working with the folks at visi, a local
company that mainly deals with business.
not the cheapest, but great service reputation,
and that is what i look for.

i have not changed out of sheer laziness.
everything is working just fine...never get
timed out, and i was just ok with it.

but, i can see coming, a lot of changes with clayart,
many ideas coming from you, maurice and now
have earl krueger on board. have to be
prepared to handle things right from this computer.
at hi/speed.

i have put together a nice group of (clayart) professionals in
the tech industry to help us sort out listserv questions,
and better ways to deliver this listserv to our
friends. i really want to make some massive changes.
not just spam, but a better way of delivering this clay
message. i am more and more convinced that we have
to close off clayart to only members posting. it seems
to be the way of the world right now. free and open
posting only leads to pix of crotches and penis enlargement salve.
so, if anyone has ideas and help, let us hear from you.
several others have been active with aid.
so.
thanks kathy forer. you are a great help to all of us.

thanks mel, I'm copper red!

It's interesting how often the more professional or sophisticated
technologies use the simplest methods. It's just that getting to that
point can be difficult.

We need to inform our directions with preference, aka "Ambient
Findability" as in the Peter Morville / O'Reilly book subtitled "What
We Find Changes Who We Become," so we're comfortable with our choices
or willing to accept continuous struggle.

Perhaps it's as a friend said when he described willingness to learn
new techniques but not always up for the last 10% of the trip. That
final part reveals where our interests lie. Some become experts in
one area and reach final fractions of discernment and iteration,
going that last mile, spinning off into new worlds, some remain
ninety percenters in all things and some aren't interested in
anything at all. And so it goes.
