Dear Potters,
It is that time of the year again. I invite you to share in the DC area
Potters for Peace (PFP) annual sale. The proceeds of the sale help
Nicaraguan potters preserve their cultural heritage and express it in new
and creative ways. Each year we raise funds by selling donated pots.
This year's benefit sale will be at the Quixote Center Gallery of
Brentwood, 3502 Varnum Street, Brentwood, MD 207811. The sale will be
held Saturday May 20, and Sunday, May 21, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Would you consider donating as many pots as you can as a 100%
contribution? You can drop off the pots at the Quixote Center any weekday
between now and the sale date. In addition, you can drop off any
donations after 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, at 2800 New Hampshire Ave.
(Colesville Presbyterian Church), the site of the Montgomery Potters
spring sale. Ask for Dolly or Jerry.
