Discover the beautiful pottery created by the prehistoric Hohokam,
Mogollon and Salado cultures with ceramicist and instructor Andy Ward
who has been recreating traditional pottery types native to our area
for over 15 years. In this six-week workshop, Ward will guide you
through digging and processing native clay, building vessels using
the coil and scrape technique, painting traditional designs with a
yucca leaf brush and finally, firing your work outdoors. All
materials are supplied. $75/members, $90/nonmembers
