Can the Spectrum Hi Fire ^4/6 glazes be applied successfully in any other
manner than brushing? Or is it a matter of thickness, viscosity, etc?
I have a variety of pints to try, both the solids and the textured.

Kathy - I use a few of the Spectrum glazes, and usually pour or spray
them. I prefer to buy them in dry form, so I can control additives and
consistency. However, I have also used the liquid pints and diluted them
successfully for pouring as well as for spraying. When you dilute the
liquid, you may need to do several tests to see how many coats of the
diluted glaze you need to apply to get a thick enough coat.

If you would like to see an example, go to the forms gallery
(www.potteryforms.org) and look at my pair of mugs from this year's stay-
at-home exchange. They were glazed with a couple of layers of Spectrum's
reactive series glazes, which I poured.
