website woes

My apologies to any of you who have tried to look at my website
over the last couple of weeks. I'm doing my best to get it going again,
but it's still not back.

For 8 years it had been hosted by NetFirms. Free, but with banner
ads and a limit on data transfer - not a problem. When the Space
Shuttle blew apart over Maydelle in 2003 and I posted a link on
Clayart, you all pushed it over the limit and it was suspended for
a few days.
I thought this had happened again, so I was concerned but not worried.
Finally, I found out that their policy now is that if a website ever,
even once, exceeds the transfer limit it is shut down for good. The
only way to put it back is to start over again and re-register. Sheesh.

I am now trying to get it going with a new host, with 250 times more
bandwidth, but that, combined with changing the domain registration
to the same company, and the fact that my son, who set up the
first website is still listed as the administrator, is causing all kinds of
delays.

I am totally frustrated. 4000 CDs with my web address were
handed out at NCECA, my Clay Times column just came out,
and I've got 3000 new instructional DVDs to sell, with ads coming
out in Ceramics Monthly at the end of the month, and the contact
point for all is the website.
In the meantime, any comments on my new song, "The Potter's
Tango" on the Trinity Ceramic Supply CD in the registration
package at NCECA? I also have a webpage ready to upload
of pictures of Tony Clennell and Tom Wirt's visit around March
first. I will let you know when I am back in business.
