Yesterday i was getting ready to fire my kiln, of course it was raining and
36 degrees outside. Since i still have a NCECA cough I decided to mix glaze
tests and added more to my glaze buckets. I decided i didnt need to be outside
spraying ,, dont have the time to end up with pneumonia.. Hope today is not
raining because i need to fire so that i can have pots for a show I need to
deliver this weekend..
Any way,,,
Nona sat watched the Sheila Clennell video again and then put handles on 2
Teapots that are also going to a show at Mudfire .. I made 3 and one has a
pulled handle,, Thank you Clennells for the video , My Bride makes the cane
handles,, also she was wearing the _www.woodfire.com_ (http://www.woodfire.com)
t-shirt i got from another Fire Fighter Simon Levin.. Nice to have both of us
working on pottery.
Waiting for my new slab roller ,, thinking about selling my small Brent slab
roller ,, also thinking about selling my 3"deairing Venco and my like new
Walker.. I think I want to get the kind of mixer Ken has..I use my mixer often
for recycle of trimming and bad pots..

Also a couple of things I keep thinking about at Portland , one was the Mike
Simon pot at the Japanese Garden that had a white bird on one side and a
black bird on the other side, so nice, wish i owned it, and also that way cool
redwood tree in front of the auditorium ,the one on its side that is
resprouting and growing a new forrest, its in Barbs photos.

well im off to the shop, studio, saltmine, to glaze, so that i will have lots
of pots to bring to any workshops im involved in

just had to share
