Here's a short one!

Brin and Dale Baucum (Baucum Pottery) (Memphis, TN, USA)
(Well-made and well-designed gas reduction-fired domestic ware. There
is a small format but good and quite lengthy quicktime movie in which
both the Baucums talk about making their pottery and their thoughts on
the work they make. Both are graduates of the Memphis Academy of Art
and are articulate in explaining their work. Dale is a thrower and
is a slab-builder.) (An audio bonus is pleasant music and birdsong,
including the mocking-bird, which is not heard very often where I

University of Wales Institute School of Art and Design, Centre for
Ceramics Studies (Cardiff, Wales, UK)
(Provides high quality ceramics training at the honours BA and at the
level, and there are galleries for the work of graduates from both
programs, and work by a number of the faculty and staff.) (Don't forget

the link to the "Interpreting Ceramics" online journal.) (Mmmm-mmm!)

Alan Frewin (Millhouse Pottery) (Harleston, Norfolk, England, UK)
(Alan Frewin and two of his friends taught themselves to throw pottery
and make their own wheels back in the 1960's. Long an expert in the
slipware technique, he has now made 6 DVD pottery videos. There are
several minutes of clips available online, 2 from each DVD, running
between 1 and 3 minutes in length.)
(More work by Alan Frewin)
