fw: need help with yuteki (oilspot) tenmoku

updated wed 15 mar 06

Hi Karin,

Something fishy here - it already totals 100.03 but there is no Fe2O3 which
must be there for a tenmoku.

My tenmoku has 7.69% iron for instance.

Thank you, guess I'll have to run some tests.

Karin,
A lot of glaze formulas will not count the oxides in the 100% total of =
the base glaze. This may have been one of them. It does make a major =
difference especially with fluxes like iron in the tenmoku glazes. Like =
Ron said, just run some tests.=20
