Hay Crew,

My buddy Bruce was kind enough to send me some significant shots of our
history. Some are of Hamada in Detroit, on the steps of the Detroit
Institute of Arts I think, and a signature page from John Fosters copy of
"A Potters Book" signed by the author with his seal. If someone knows
Japanese it would be interesting to see who the type of potters Leach
offered his dedication. Maybe Bruce and I have a Mangai connection so
overpowering we don't realize it. Alls I knows is the need to keep working
toward working.

A second group of shots are some of the Diebboll's work. Although Bob
and Bruce work together on their salt glazed ware they also have their own
projects. Keep the traditions alive guys.

Looking like the weather is going to be tolerable enough to start making
a decision on the cross section of the stack on the kiln and start laging
them in place. I heard tonight the frost only went 6". That don't seem
right but it didn't get below 0° much and we had a good cover of snow that
stayed. There won't be much frost in my foundation of a couple feet of
stone and gravel. I decided to go back and make the floor area level, the
slight pitch would be a disadvantage. That's it, enjoy and stay in there!
