joe koons found some very powerful
yellow iron oxide that we use in the
`iron saga` study.
at cone 12 /oxidized fire it gave a rich
yellow color. it we would have used
yellow ochre i am sure it would have faded
into a soft brown.
there are two pix on my index page/home page
with the yellow glazes.
otto heino has one of the yellow bowls.
