flashing porcelain body recipe

Someone asked recently if there is a flashing porcelain good for wood fire.
40 % Helmer Kaolin airfloat (available from IMCO through Laguna
distributors)
10% Ball clay (I used OM4)
25% Custer Feldspar
25% 200 mesh silica
Add 1/2 % V-Gum T dispersed carefully warm water.
Add 1/2 % Epsom Salts dissolved in hot water.
I fast fire cone 10 so I use 12.5% Custer and 12.5% nepheline syenite
instead of all feldspar.
We cast with this body by eliminating the Epsom salts and by substituting
Darvan as the deflocculant.
