ClayArt is such a generous group of people! A number of people have
responded to my request for feedback on my new website. As promised, here is a
report back on what people saw and said.
These were the main points that have universal applications:
First, I need to mount a gallery page with more photos of pottery.
Second, although it is good that the photos are small, since they load
quickly, they should also be available in larger views for those who want to see
more details.
Third, several people found the text hard to read against the gray
background.
Fourth, I should consider simplifying the variety of fonts.
The site has other specific design issues and problems that people pointed
out. Their comments were really helpful, but since they were specific to my
site, I'm not passing them on to the group at large. You should all know
though, how generous several people were in responding at length and in detail
about those issues.
