glazes crawling/ learning glazes

As to the discussion about glazes being more than just the recipe, my crawling problems are a good example. I have been using one of these glazes since 1980, the other is from about 1986. A third one is new, I have been using it only for four years.
Only recently did I try putting all three on the same pot, layering.

I think I haven't finished the learning curve for this one yet. I had a few good kiln loads, this time I added a few different "dips," didn't keep meticulous notes, but it seems the problem pots were the ones that were done last. I waited until the next day to fire.
I can't remember the specifics on thicknesses of glazes and times in between coats as I did two glaze loads back to back.
I am taking notes again next time. Concluding it is moisture and perhaps glaze thickness. Just have to pin it down.
Thanks again, I will hopefully post in a few weeks with a success.

double coating, though, that may be the root
