Hello Tony,
In addition to enjoying your update of your activities, I zeroed in on
the above paragraph about glazing your monster pot. I recently bisqued my
first two vessel sinks ever, and have been mentally visuallizing different
methods of glazing them. They are 16-17" diameter, weigh about 16 lbs
because I made them thick. I can't imagine handling a 65lb. pot! What you
said about how you glazed it helped me figure out that I will dip my sinks
with 3 or 4 overlaps, holding them sideways. The difference in glaze
thiickness will give them some vertical interest, and this method should
keep things tidy-thanks! (the marks look perfect on your piece, but I don't
think my customer wants any on their sink)

40 deg. weather- I feel like a wuss in comparison; It's got to at least 60
for me to go out to the garage/studio and work.
