Taking a note from Bonnie's wonderfully desciptive email, I set up my firing
similar to the higher fire Trash can method, but with 5 inches of sawdust in
the bottom instead of kitty litter, since I didn't have any at the time.

The results are great! As soon as I can figure out where to put them,
probably on Flikr, I'll send out a link.

Hi Phillip,

Looking forward to seeing the outcome of your firing. I smoke fired
about five pots today outside in 40 degree weather. Most came out
great. Have to finish the embellishments and the will put them up on
Flickr too next week. I always feel a little envious of those who live
in the warmer climates as they can do this kind of firing any time.
Still Michigan has so many things going for it that I think we have the
best of all worlds up here.
