workshop presenters mis-behaving

The trouble with workshop presenters
showing up hung over at noon, not bothering
to teach, having affairs, ignoring students is
that the trickle down effect leads directly to
the facility ... no matter how famous the potters
are or think they are ... the arts center suffers.

There is one famous place I will never go back
to because they turned a blind eye to this type
of 'student abuse' because the teacher was so
famous ... no one wanted to call the artist on his
awful behavior ... they made us feel that we were
the problem ... not the 'god' of clay ...

I guess they were worried he would get angry and
never return?? Did not give a hoot whether the
people who actually paid money would be happy.

I wasted two weeks of my life and
too much money to ever trust them again.

Chris Campbell - in North Carolina - There are many workshops
where the teachers are monitored no matter how famous they are
... someone from admin' drops' by to say hello several times ...
those are my kind of places!
