Today was tremedously frustrating. My second time at "Art in the Garden" at
the Irving Art Center. No advertising at all by the Art Center, except a
small listing on their website which you can find only if you know to look
for it.

The first time there were 7 artists/craftsmen there, today just me and one
painter. This was supposed to be a "big day" because Santa was there --
looks like they forgot to advertise Santa, too. I sold one mug.

Can anyone suggest places to sell pottery in or near the Dallas/Fort Worth
area? I am just beginning to sell my work and would love to show it where
there are plenty of people to see it. I would also like to try to sell my
work where people come for the purpose of shopping, not as an after thought
because I happen to be sitting there when they bring their kids to see
Santa.

Any and all suggestions would be welcome.

Many thanks,

Murry Gans
Irving, TX

Richardson has two events in the spring and the fall. Cottonwood is a
juried show and I am not sure about Huffins. They are well advertised
and well attended.
