It's time again for the Holiday Pottery Show and Sale by The Art League School of Alexandria, Virginia. The show features the work of the school's residents and students. I just walked through the exhibit and, believe me, you will not be disappointed - some of the pieces are truly outstanding!

HOURS:
Thursday, December 1 from Noon to 6 p.m.
Friday, December 2 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, December 3 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday, December 4 from Noon to 5 p.m.

LOCATION: The Art League School Duke Street Annex, Union and Duke Streets in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia (this is about two blocks SOUTH of the Torpedo Factory, on Union St.). We're close to numerous restaurants and shops, and Saturday is also the annual "Scottish Christmas Walk" in Old Town, only a few blocks away, so it will be a fun day to spend by the Alexandria waterfront. (see http://www.scottishchristmaswalk.com/scw05schedule.htm for details on the parade).

ADMISSION: Free

NOTE: Thirty percent of all sales will benefit The Art League School. Bring your checkbook or cash - credit cards cannot be accepted.

RAFFLE: Works by internationally recognized artists Bill van Gilder and Dale Marhanka--instructors at The Art League School--will be awarded at the end of the show to two lucky raffle ticket holders. No purchase necessary.
