Hi Monica,

I sont know if this is too far from you, but I used to work here and they are a wonderful group of people and very talented. They offer classes. Good luck!

I have been looking for a class as well. I live in Weatherford, Texas 26
miles west of Fort Worth.
I have made a few bowls. Pottery is harder then it looks.
I am stil having the time of my life. I just love it!!!!

Check with Dee & Terry Buck in Gruene/New Braunfels. I don't know if
they teach there or not, but they would probably know someone in the
area who does. You might also check Texas State (Is that what it is
now? Used to be Southwest Texas State) right there in San Marcos.
They may have an adult ed/non-credit class in pottery you could
take. Likewise, check at Texas Lutheran in Seguin (23 minutes south
of San Marcos on 123 bypass). John Nellermoe is the instructor
there. I know they have a Ceramics Program, but don't know if they
offer adult ed classes. I'm sure Dale Neese, & Gay Judson (both of
whom are on this list), in San Antonio will also have some ideas.
Good Luck!
Cindy
