Howdy y'all:

Okay I really can't reconstruct how I have come to know of Gail Nichols,
but there it is. I have come to know of Dr. Gail Nichols, and I am liking
her work. I know that for a time the talk was of her book, _Soda, Clay,
and Fire_, coming out through ACerS in 2004. I have yet to find this book
on WorldCat, ACerS, or in other sources. Hep me.

Is this yet another figment of my imagination? Have I been tasting too
much green honey, or am I just getting sloppy in my old age?

Dr. Nichols, are you still out there?

Ooh, someone is interested in soda firing, huh? Hmm.....

Taylor,
I don't know of the book your refering to, but I have Salt Glazing by Phil
Rogers and I really like it.
So, if you can't find the book your looking for, but still want a Soda book=
,
I suggest that one.
My $.02

Taylor, ACerS has cut its staff so much that Bill Jones is now doing all
the books and PMI, if not also CM. He has finished Epler's book and I think
he just finished "Mud to Music", but I think my book on china paint has
snuck in ahead of the soda firing book (sorry, but I reaIly do hope so).
But that soda book is still in the works. I don't think the manuscript is
finished yet, though.
