Dear Clayart recyclers,

I have an old Pacifica Torque Glyde with a burnt out controller.
I'm interested in "parting out" the remaining parts of the unit.

Motor, belts, table, splash pan ( slight cracks in corners) base and Iron legs all are in relatively good condition at a very reasonable price.

The wheel is located in New City, NY ( near the Tappan Zee Bridge) for pick up as the cost of shipping outweighs the costs of the parts.

Maybe my loss is your gain.

Hi Mitch, not trying to talk you into anything, but did you know
you can buy a new, up-to-date controller and foot pedal for
your old Glyde Torque for a couple of hundred dollars?
I have a 1979 model and updated to the new system in
about 1993. Since then, there is an even newer, more improved
electric control and pedal system, so you would be jumping
up 2 steps.
If the rest of the wheel is in good shape this sure makes a lot
more sense to me than parting it out. You would have a wheel
with current up-to-date electronics for not much of an investment.

If you do end up parting out the wheel, and are willing to put it in a
box and mail it, I could use a spare 13" Pacifica wheelhead.
